I used Susan's Favorite Cookie Recipe and they turned out great! I dusted before each time with powdered sugar and the dough easily unmolded...I was very impressed! I ended up with three dozen. I didn't chill the dough before using, but I did put the filled pans in the refrigerator before baking. I also didn't use a mug, just my fingers to push in the mold, then evened off with a table knife with a serrated edge. I made them ahead of Thanksgiving because I didn't know how time consuming they would be, and they're in the freezer. I left them plain and I think they're darling! The only time I had dough stick to the mold was the very last...I think I was just not as careful unmolding it, so I had to re-do that one. I also bought the small snowflake for Christmas, I'm interested to see if it unmolds as easily as the turkey...thank you!
